In proper observation of the calendar school year Sugar Babiez will be on break until Labor Day. I know you must be thinking ‘I am so very disappointed.’ Do not dismay! I will be using this time to organize the dozens upon dozens of comics I have written and thumbnailed in my sketchbooks into an ostensibly functional order. I will also be using this time to solidify the designs of the characters and get a head start on the next batch of comics. I will be attending San Diego Comic Con next month and PAX in September, so if anyone would like to meet up shoot me an e-mail or give me an HOLLA. As a thank you to everyone who read the first year of Sugar Babiez I have created an alternate final panel to season one below. See you in September!

In an effort to provide an alternative to smoking pot today I’m posting another one of my favorite cartoons for all you kids out there. Today’s cartoon is Mickey’s Kangaroo! One of the best looking black and white cartoons ever produced and influential on both Chuck Jones’ Roadrunner and Robert McKimson’s Hippety Hopper. Enjoy!

I received my first fan art yesterday!  It’s a great pic of Borrego by John “SynDuo.” Check out his deviantart here.  His work is fantastic, I guess the fanage is mutual.

I regret to inform that Young American Comics is closing shop.  As a result the fine people at YAC are hosting a blow-out sale on their inventory.  These guys are totally awesome and were kind enough to publish a short comic I submitted for their BIZMAR (bunny-insect-zombie-monkey-alien-robot) anthology. The books are cheap and I highly recommend picking some up before they disappear forever.

Here’s one of my favorite cartoons. I figured I’d post it to scare the pants off everyone before Halloween tomorrow. It’s also a great cartoon to watch before you go out and vote next week. I’d also like to thank everyone reading the comic, you guys rock.
